01Mobile Action pricing and the Lite plan
Mobile Action sells ASO as one of five product lines. The ASO plans and the free Apple Ads manager, as recorded from its pricing page:
| Mobile Action | Price | Keywords | Competitors per app | Apps |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | $15/mo | 100 | 3 | 5 |
| Basic | $69/mo | 500 | 10 | 8 |
| Apple Ads campaign manager | Free up to $10,000 of monthly ad spend | — | — | — |
| Ad, Search Ads and CPP Intelligence | On request | — | — | — |
What Lite is for
Lite is the entry to the ASO product: 100 keywords, three competitors per app and three months of history. With three months of history, a metadata change and its effect fit in the window only if they happen close together. Daily keyword rank at 500 keywords is on Basic at $69 — the tier our ASO tool pricing table lists as the real ASO price.
02What Storelift costs
| Plan | Price | What it measures |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 1 app · 25 keywords per storefront · 2 storefronts · 30 days of history · no end date |
| Pro | $20/mo · $16.67 billed yearly | 5 apps · 250 keywords per app per storefront · all 175 storefronts · 6 months of history · 3 seats · export, API and MCP server |
| Studio | $60/mo · $50 billed yearly | Unlimited apps · 500 keywords per app · 10 seats · AI visibility in Claude |
03The published numbers
| Storelift Free | Storelift Pro | Mobile Action Lite | Mobile Action Basic | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price | $0 | $20/mo | $15/mo | $69/mo |
| Competitors per app | Unlimited on each keyword | Unlimited on each keyword | 3 | 10 |
| Keywords | 25 per storefront | 250 per storefront | 100 | 500 |
| Apps | 1 | 5 | 5 | 8 |
The $15 tier is the shop window: three months of history and three competitors per app is not enough to argue about a trend. The tier people actually work on is $69.
04Where the two products separate
Mobile Action's centre of gravity is paid acquisition: an Apple Ads campaign manager with automation templates for bidding rules. Storelift's is organic measurement — it reads your Apple Ads results and lines them up against your organic rank on the same row, so the paid and organic numbers can be compared.
Storelift measures what the stores show in public: daily rank across App Store and Google Play, the apps ranking above you on each keyword, demand read from store autocomplete, and the review feed next to it. Every derived number carries the arithmetic that produced it.
05What one screen buys you
On G2 the three phrases that recur about Mobile Action are expensive, difficult learning and data inaccuracy; on Capterra, that the interface needs simplifying. The first two are the cost of five product lines sharing a login.
The third is the one Storelift is built around. Every rank on screen carries its measurement depth, a failed measurement shows as a gap rather than a zero, and the keyword difficulty formula is printed in the interface rather than described as proprietary. That is what makes every number on the screen checkable.
06What changes if you switch from Mobile Action
Storelift is one product rather than five, so the change is mostly in what is measured and how long it is kept:
- History: 30 days on the free plan, 6 months on Pro ($20/mo) and 1 year on Studio ($60/mo).
- Tracked rivals: 3 on Free, 15 on Pro, 50 on Studio, with each rival's rating count and age beside its rank.
- Each of 175 storefronts is its own row: the same keyword in Turkey and in Germany is two measurements, not one market.
- Rank is read to the top 200 on the App Store and the top ~30 on Google Play, and the depth sits next to every rank — so "not ranked" always says how far down it was checked. See rank tracking.
- A night that could not be measured is drawn as a gap, not a zero: ranked, not in the list and not measured stay three separate states.
Rank history does not move between tools — no vendor exports it in a shape another imports. The day you add the app, its history starts and fills in with every nightly run; copy the keyword list you already track, per country, as the starting set.
07When Mobile Action is the better pick
- You run Apple Ads and want the campaign manager in the same login (free up to $10,000/mo of ad spend), with automation templates for bidding rules.
- You need Ad, Search Ads or CPP Intelligence, which are quoted on request.
- You want 500 keywords, 10 competitors per app and 8 apps on one plan (Basic, $69/mo).
If what you need is daily keyword rank on both stores and who ranks above you, Storelift does that from $0, and Pro is $20/mo. Where another tool fits better, Storelift alternatives says which.
