AppTweak pricing, and an AppTweak alternative

AppTweak is priced for teams with an ASO budget: €79/month for the entry tier, with Campaign Manager, Reviews and Market Intelligence sold as separate products. Storelift is one product at one price: daily keyword rank on App Store and Google Play, the apps above you on each keyword, and a free tier that doesn't expire.

01AppTweak pricing (2026)

AppTweak prices in euro and sells several products on top of its ASO tiers. The figures recorded from its own pricing page:

Read from AppTweak's own pricing page on 13 September 2026 and linked under Sources. Not currency-adjusted. Campaign Manager, Reviews, Market Intelligence, the API and AI Visibility are each sold separately from the ASO tiers; there is a 7-day trial and no free plan.

Two things the headline €79 leaves out: every tier up to Enterprise is one seat, so a two-person team pays for two, and each extra module is its own line.

Figures read from each vendor's own pricing page on 13 September 2026 and linked under Sources. AppTweak lists prices in euro; the comparison isn't currency-adjusted. Seats stay at one on AppTweak's Essential, Grow and Grow Plus tiers alike — team workspaces begin at Enterprise. Since 3 August 2026 AppTweak also runs a remote MCP server with 10 tools; full access comes with its API plans, from €166/month. Storelift's MCP server is on Pro and Studio.

04The difference that isn't on the price sheet

Both tools show you a keyword rank. They don't agree on where demand comes from. AppTweak, like most of the category, derives it from Apple's ad-console popularity score. In a four-day window from 29 September 2025 the number of US keywords above that score's floor fell from 165,875 to 39,254 — a 77.4% drop — and the score only exists in the 91 countries where Apple Ads operates, against an App Store present in 175.

Storelift reads demand from App Store autocomplete instead: does the store suggest the term, and with how many variants. It gives no volume number, and says so. That's a smaller claim, but it survives changes to Apple's ad product and it works in every storefront.

05Both tools measure AI visibility. Only one includes it.

AppTweak launched AI Visibility for Apps in April 2026. Its published description: a taxonomy of 1,200+ user intents across 200+ subcategories, thousands of prompts run weekly, answers matched back to real app IDs, plus sentiment and source attribution.

Three things are worth knowing before you compare the two on a feature grid:

  • It sits on the Enterprise tier. On Essential, Grow and Grow Plus, AI Visibility is listed as sold separately. Storelift includes it on Studio, at $60/month — no separate line item.
  • Engines. AppTweak's own pages name ChatGPT and Claude. Storelift measures Claude.
  • No country or language coverage is published. We looked across AppTweak's product page, its press release and the page it writes for AI crawlers; none states which markets are measured. Storelift measures per storefront — up to three per app — and prints which one produced the answer.

The prompts also come from different places. AppTweak generates them from its own category taxonomy, which is what makes category benchmarking possible. Storelift generates them from your tracked keywords, so the question set is specific to the app being measured. The two approaches answer different questions.

06What switching actually costs

Rank history doesn't transfer between tools — nobody exports it in a shape another vendor imports. What that means in practice: the day you add an app to a new tracker, its history starts at zero and fills in daily.

  1. Add the app with its store link; nothing else is required to start.
  2. Copy your keyword list per country. Terms tracked in the old tool are the right starting set.
  3. Run both for a few weeks if the old contract is still live — differing ranks are usually personalization or a different depth limit, and comparing the two teaches you which.

08AppTweak vs Sensor Tower: what each price buys

The two are priced for different buyers. AppTweak publishes self-serve prices from €79 a month per seat. Sensor Tower publishes none: every module is quoted with an annual contract, and the median Vendr has tracked across 38 contracts is $74,415 a year (read August 2026). Sensor Tower's six modules model a whole market — estimated installs, revenue, ad spend, audience; AppTweak's tiers are built around keywords and listings. Neither is priced for measuring one app's rank. More: Sensor Tower alternative.

09What changes if you switch from AppTweak

The measurable differences, row by row:

  • Demand is read from store autocomplete in every storefront measured — including markets without Apple's ad popularity score, which exists in the 91 countries where Apple Ads runs, against an App Store in 175. See autocomplete demand signal.
  • Each of 175 storefronts is its own row: the same keyword in Turkey and in Germany is two measurements, not one market.
  • Rank is read to the top 200 on the App Store and the top ~30 on Google Play, and the depth sits next to every rank — so "not ranked" always says how far down it was checked. See rank tracking.
  • History: 30 days on the free plan, 6 months on Pro ($20/mo) and 1 year on Studio ($60/mo).
  • A night that could not be measured is drawn as a gap, not a zero: ranked, not in the list and not measured stay three separate states.

Rank history does not move between tools — no vendor exports it in a shape another imports. The day you add the app, its history starts and fills in with every nightly run; copy the keyword list you already track, per country, as the starting set.

10When AppTweak is the better pick

  • You want Campaign Manager, Reviews and Market Intelligence from the same vendor as your ASO tool, each sold as its own product.
  • You want 500 keywords with 6 months of history on the entry tier (Essential, €79/mo, one seat).
  • You want AI visibility measured in ChatGPT as well as Claude, built on a taxonomy of 1,200+ user intents (Enterprise tier).
  • You want a remote MCP server with 10 tools, through API plans from €166/mo.

If what you need is daily keyword rank on both stores and who ranks above you, Storelift does that from $0, and Pro is $20/mo. Where another tool fits better, Storelift alternatives says which.

Frequently asked

Is there a free AppTweak alternative?

Storelift's free tier tracks one app, 25 keywords in each of two storefronts, measured daily, with no end date. It is smaller than AppTweak's entry tier by design; it is not a countdown trial.

Does Storelift do Apple Search Ads management?

No. Storelift measures organic search: rank, the apps above you, demand and reviews. Paid bidding is a separate job, run in Apple Search Ads itself.

Can I track competitors' keywords?

You can track any term, including rival app names, and see which apps rank above you on each one with their rating, review count and age. Open a rival and you also get its monthly installs — on Google Play from Google's own install count, on the App Store as a band derived from ratings and age with that arithmetic shown.

How much does AppTweak cost?

Read on 13 September 2026: Essential €79, Grow €249 and Grow Plus €499 a month, one seat each; Enterprise is listed on its pricing page; API plans start at €166 a month. Prices are in euro.

Does AppTweak have an API for app rankings?

Yes, sold as separate API plans from €166 a month, which also give full access to its 10-tool MCP server (launched 3 August 2026). Storelift's API and MCP server are on Pro at $20 a month — see Storelift API.

Who are AppTweak's competitors?

Among self-serve ASO tools: Sonar, Mobile Action, Appfigures, AppFollow and Storelift; for market intelligence, Sensor Tower. Entry prices for each are in the table above, with read dates.
