How the filter works

  • A term is pulled out when it contains the words of a name you entered, in the same order and as whole words: "calm" catches "calm sleep" but not "calming".
  • Case and accents don't matter, and a name written without its space still matches: "Sleep Cycle" also catches "sleepcycle".
  • A term that appears a second time is set aside as a duplicate; its first occurrence stays in the list.

The calculation runs in your browser; nothing you type is sent to a server, and the tool needs no account.

Add the clean list to the dashboard and we'll measure every day where you rank on each keyword and which apps are above you.

Common questions

Can I put a competitor's app name in my keyword field?

Apple's App Store Review Guideline 2.3.7 asks you not to pack metadata with trademarked terms or popular app names. Using a name you don't own means taking on that review risk.

Does the filter find brand names on its own?

No. It only looks for the names you type. We can't know which names are trademarked; you supply the list.

Will my own brand name be removed?

Only if you put it in the names box. Your own name is already indexed in your app name, so it doesn't need repeating in the keyword field.

Is what I type stored anywhere?

No. Filtering runs in your browser and nothing is sent to a server. The tool needs no account.
