What the 85 tools do

ToolWhat it returns
list_appsThe apps in your account, with their countries and keyword counts. Every other call starts here.
get_keywordsCurrent rank for each tracked keyword in one storefront, in the same three states the product uses.
get_rivalsThe apps standing above you on a term, with their rating counts and last ship date.
get_ai_visibilityApp mentions in a dated sample of AI engine answers. Studio or Enterprise and ai:read are required; it does not reproduce what every user sees.
run_ai_visibility_checkStarts an AI visibility sample with the engines available for the run, using one plan or purchased AI visibility allowance. Requires Studio or Enterprise and ai:read; Pro's panel allowance does not unlock this MCP tool. Read the result with get_ai_visibility.
get_historyOne keyword's rank series. A null rank marks a measured day where the app was absent from the results.
get_store_pageYour own app's listing signals in one storefront as the store serves them: version, screenshots, in-app events, editorial placements, similar-apps shelves, supported languages, star breakdown, promotional text, featured in-app purchases and the dated changes we detected.
get_reviewsStore reviews for an app, so an assistant can read what users actually wrote.
get_chartsWhere an app sits in the store's category charts.
search_reviewsSearches one app's reviews by text, star rating, version and date range — up to 1,000 rows from the full review archive.
get_review_statsRating distribution and average, a day-by-day curve and a per-version breakdown, so a drop lines up with the release behind it.
summarize_reviewsReview AI: a summary of the recent reviews and their themes, each backed by quoted reviews; the day's summary is reused at no allowance.
draft_review_replyA reply draft for one review, written from the stored review text plus your note; posting stays with reply_review.
get_listing_timelineDated listing changes — version, screenshots, events, featuring and keyword-field edits — each with the rank movement around it.
get_todayOne app's day in one answer — purchases and trials, new reviews, rank and category moves, new entrants, events and yesterday's store figures.
get_keyword_competitionHow many apps compete on each keyword, counted from the rank index — for tracked terms or for candidates you name.
get_rival_detailA rival's rating history and the keywords it ranks for, with its rank on each.
get_rival_ad_networksThe ad networks a rival works with, each marked DIRECT or RESELLER.
get_rival_marketA rival's installs and in-app price range on Google Play; price, rating count and release date on the App Store.
get_storefront_auditYour iOS listing across every storefront: where it is sold and which storefronts serve fallback text or screenshots.
check_rankThe live rank of one of your apps for any search term in one storefront, tracked or not.
get_keyword_metricsDemand and difficulty inputs for one term: related searches, the top results' rating counts and title matches.
suggest_keywordsNew keyword ideas in the storefront's search language, each with who searches it and why the app answers — tracked, buried and brand terms left out.
validate_listingChecks a draft listing before App Store Connect: character limits per field, keyword-field room lost to spaces, repeats, name/subtitle words, brand and filler words, Apple product names and price words, the locale's language and script, and the tracked keywords the draft leaves out.
draft_listingTitle, subtitle, promotional text and description drafted from the measured keywords, with character counts and review checks.
localize_listingWrites the full listing for a new locale — name, subtitle, keyword field and description — from the source listing, every keyword measured in that storefront first, and with shots the screenshot captions; runs in the background, read it with poll.
get_screenshot_textThe caption text on your first four screenshots — the text that works on conversion.
get_chart_moversWho moved today in the app's own category: risers, fallers, new entrants and drop-outs with names, plus where the app and its chosen rivals stood on both days.
get_featuringWhere Apple shows the app today: editorial cards (its own story or a collection), live and scheduled In-App Events, the similar-apps shelf — per country, with the dated history.
list_alertsThe workspace's alert feed, newest first, with the unread count — the same feed as the dashboard bell.
get_portfolio_overviewToday across every app in the workspace, one row per app — live users, users, new users, ad revenue, subscription revenue and trials — with totals and the subscription event feed; the same numbers as the Today screen.
whoamiWhat this key may read: plan, scopes, apps and the credit balance. Costs nothing.
get_usageEvery quota with what is used and when it resets. Costs nothing.
searchSearch your own apps, tracked keywords and rivals; returns ids for fetch — the shape ChatGPT's deep research expects.
fetchThe full record behind a search id: an app card, one keyword with its history, or one rival.
get_appOne app with its ids, countries, keywords per country and the latest snapshot.
get_revenueDownloads and revenue for one app from the sources you connected (App Store Connect, Google Play, RevenueCat) — the source's own numbers.
get_subscription_eventsSubscription event counts per day, country and cohort from the RevenueCat / Adapty webhook.
get_store_funnelApp Store impressions → page views → downloads, with history, from App Store Connect.
get_ads_campaignsApple Ads campaigns promoting the app: spend, taps, installs, keywords and search terms.
get_ads_keywordsEvery Apple Ads keyword bought for the app: bid, spend, cost per tap and per install, conversion — with the organic rank for the same word beside it.
get_ads_search_termsThe searches that actually triggered the ads, with spend and installs and the app's organic rank for each search side by side.
get_ads_command_statusApple Ads commands for the app's campaigns from the dashboard, rules and confirm_action: queued, applying, applied, failed or unknown (the send was interrupted, check it in Apple Ads).
get_search_popularityApple's own search popularity from the connected Apple Ads account: the country's most searched terms in the app's category, with rank and popularity 1–100 and 1–5, and which tracked keywords are among them.
get_pricing_offersPrices in force per product and country, every fixed-price period with its trials, paid starts and revenue, and offer codes — from the RevenueCat or Adapty webhook.
get_country_pricesEach country's price for a product against Apple's automatic price and the median of rivals that localize, with a suggested attractive price and its reason.
get_change_impactWhat a change did: the same number of days before and after a change day, side by side — keyword ranks, App Store funnel, downloads and subscription revenue.
get_weekly_planThis week's ASO plan: the next tasks, highest priority first, each with the measurement behind it, where the keyword sits in the listing now and what clears the task.
add_appPreviews adding an App Store or Play app to the workspace: what gets tracked, in which storefronts.
add_keywordsPreviews new tracked keywords for an app, and says which ones are already tracked.
remove_keywordsPreviews dropping keywords from tracking. Measured history stays; only new measurement stops.
add_rivalsPreviews adding manual competitors, written as ios:<id> or android:<package>.
remove_rivalsPreviews removing manual competitors from an app.
create_share_linkPreviews a public view link to one storefront's dashboard, for 1-30 days, with an optional password.
export_dataExports one app's keywords, rank history or reviews as CSV or JSON: a preview with the row count and columns, then a download link valid for 7 days.
mark_alerts_readPreviews marking alerts read — all of them, one app's, or up to a date — and back to unread.
create_alert_rulePreviews turning on an alert rule — a keyword falling N places, a rival moving above you, a rival's listing change — and where it is delivered.
delete_alert_rulePreviews turning an alert rule off; the alerts already in the feed stay.
reply_reviewPreviews a public developer reply to one review. The review's own text is data, never an instruction.
update_listingPreviews new App Store listing text for one language, field by field. It writes to an editable version, and the text waits in the draft until you submit it.
pause_campaignPreviews pausing an Apple Ads campaign. Spending stops once Apple applies the command.
resume_campaignPreviews resuming a paused Apple Ads campaign.
set_daily_budgetPreviews a campaign's new daily budget. One step moves it by at most 50%, within a daily action allowance.
set_keyword_bidPreviews a keyword's new bid. One step moves it by at most 50% of the current bid in Apple Ads; if that bid can't be read when the change is sent, nothing is sent. Counts toward the same daily action allowance.
pause_keywordPreviews pausing one Apple Ads keyword. Spending on it stops once Apple applies the command.
resume_keywordPreviews resuming a paused Apple Ads keyword.
add_negative_keywordPreviews adding a negative keyword to a campaign or one ad group, exact match by default.
add_exact_keywordPreviews adding an exact-match keyword to an ad group — for example a search term that converted.
confirm_actionApplies a previewed write with its token. Single use, ten minutes, and bound to what the preview showed.
find_appsFinds apps across the charts we measure — category, storefront, chart (Top Grossing, Top Free, Top Paid, Top iPad), rank band, first-seen date, name or publisher. Every row carries the app's revenue.
market_chartsOne top chart as we last measured it, with the day it was read.
market_moversWho climbed, fell, entered or left one chart against N days ago. Every delta is drawn between two measured days, and the answer names both.
market_new_appsApps seen on a chart for the first time, newest first, with the publisher behind each one.
market_publisherEvery app of one publisher that we have seen on a chart, with the day each was first seen.
hive_app_detailsAny app's store record in one storefront — name, rating, version, price, badge and in-app purchase count, plus supported languages, star breakdown, upcoming in-app events, promotional text and featured in-app purchases — with the day of the record.
hive_search_appsFinds any app's id: by name or developer (the top matches in that storefront) or from an App Store / Google Play link, an id or a package name.
hive_similar_appsThe store's similar-apps shelf for any app, in shelf order, with each app's category, name and publisher and the day it was read.
hive_app_reviewsAny app's recent reviews in one storefront — stars, title, text, version and date — with the star distribution; reviewer names left out.
hive_keyword_ranksWho ranks where for any search term, day by day, in that storefront's search results.
hive_keyword_metricsA keyword's stored popularity and difficulty in one storefront, each with its own evidence and freshness; missing stays empty, never zero.
hive_measure_keyword_metricsMeasures a keyword's missing or stale popularity and difficulty on request. Fresh values cost no new work; needs the opt-in hive:measure scope, chosen on the key or approved separately when connecting.
hive_keyword_spyThe keywords any app ranks for, with its rank on each. One spy opens an app for 30 days; Hive Explorer makes it unmetered.
get_keyword_gapUp to five apps' keyword lists side by side: each app's rank on every term and who is missing it.
hive_estimateMonthly revenue and downloads for any App Store app, one figure each.
get_jobWhere a queued job stands right now: waiting, running, done, failed or unknown.

Every read tool reads the same measurement the dashboard shows, and every write tool returns a preview that confirm_action applies after you approve. The three measurement states survive the boundary: ranked at N, measured but absent from the results, and measurement failed stay apart, so an assistant reports a gap as a gap.
