Apple Ads

In every other tool ASO and Apple Ads are separate products, so the same keyword's organic rank and paid spend never appear on the same row. That is the row that answers the only question worth asking: I am already first organically — why am I paying for this word?

Every figure on this page is read from a code path, not written by hand — the same discipline the product applies to your own data.

The join is the product. Rank comes from the store's public search result and spend comes from your ads account; no competitor's ads data is involved, because Apple does not publish it and a number modelled from outside would be a guess.

How it works

  1. You connect your own Apple Ads account. The credentials live in your own partition and never come back out of the API — only "connected" does.
  2. Spend is matched to measured keywords. A term you bid on that we already track becomes one row with both numbers on it.
  3. Read-only is the default. With a read-only key the management screen is not shown at all, because a button that turns out not to work is the worst possible state.
  4. Writes are limited and logged. Pause, resume and daily budget — three actions, each recorded with who did it and when.

What you do with it

Stop paying for what you own

A keyword you rank first for organically and still buy every tap on is the cheapest saving in the account.

Compare organic and paid

See what you were charged for

The search-term report is the only place the words Apple actually billed you for appear.

Write only what you meant to

Pause, resume and daily budget — three actions, a read-only key hides the screen entirely.

What this does not do

Your account, not your competitor's

We join your spend to your ranks. We do not model theirs.

Apple does not publish anyone else's ad spend, and a number reconstructed from outside would be a guess presented as a measurement:

  • No competitor ad intelligence. No estimated spend, no creative library, no share-of-voice for accounts that are not yours.
  • No automated bidding. Three write actions exist — pause, resume, daily budget — and each is recorded with who did it and when.
  • A read-only key hides the management screen. A visible button that cannot work is the worst state a screen can be in.
  • Apply is often disabled on purpose. Apple accepts some changes only in certain states, and the screen says why before you click.

This is your account, not a competitive intelligence product. We do not estimate a competitor's ad spend, we do not reconstruct their creatives, and we do not run automated bidding. Apple also accepts some changes only in certain states, so "Apply" is often disabled — and the screen says why rather than failing after the click.

Frequently asked

Can I see a competitor's Apple Ads spend?

No. Apple does not publish it, and a number modelled from outside would be a guess presented as a measurement. What we join is your own account to your own organic ranks.

Do you optimise bids automatically?

No. There is no automated bidding in the product. The writes available are pause, resume and daily budget, and each one is logged.

What if my Apple Ads key is read-only?

Then the management screen is not shown at all. A visible button that cannot work is worse than no button.

Why does this matter if I already track my ranks?

Because the two numbers only mean something together. A keyword where you rank first organically and still spend on every tap is money you can move — and you cannot see that unless both numbers sit on one row.
