02Where Storelift is different
Coverage is the measurable difference. Storelift reads Google Play alongside the App Store and keeps the two apart — iOS to a depth of 200, Play to 30 — and treats each of 175 storefronts as its own row, so the same word in Turkey and in Germany are two measurements rather than one market.
That is also why the keyword numbers are not comparable line for line. Storelift's 250 is per app per storefront, and a night's run carries keywords × storefronts as units; an uncapped list in a single market is a different unit of work.
On the measurement contract the two agree: a day that could not be read is not written as a zero, and ranked, not in the list and not measured stay three separate states.
03What changes if you switch from ASOon
On list price ASOon is lower. The measurable difference is coverage:
- App Store and Google Play sit in one dashboard and are kept apart — a keyword ranking in one is never assumed to rank in the other.
- Each of 175 storefronts is its own row: the same keyword in Turkey and in Germany is two measurements, not one market.
- The free plan has no end date: 1 app, 25 keywords in each of 2 storefronts, measured every day.
- Export is on Pro at $20; alerts run on every plan, free included, and go to Telegram, Slack or a webhook.
Rank history does not move between tools — no vendor exports it in a shape another imports. The day you add the app, its history starts and fills in with every nightly run; copy the keyword list you already track, per country, as the starting set.
04When ASOon is the better pick
- You ship on the App Store only and want unlimited apps, markets and keywords at $12/mo ($96 a year).
- You want to try the paid plan for 14 days before the card is charged.
If what you need is daily keyword rank on both stores and who ranks above you, Storelift does that from $0, and Pro is $20/mo. Where another tool fits better, Storelift alternatives says which.
