# Screenshot size checker and resizer URL: https://storelift.net/tools/screenshot-sizes/ Language: en Updated: 2026-09-12 Drop your screenshots to see which App Store and Google Play slots they fit. Resize them to the size you need and download them all in one .zip file. Drop PNG or JPEG screenshots on the page. Each file is matched against every App Store display size (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, Apple Vision Pro, Apple Watch) and against Google Play's limits for phone, tablet, feature graphic, icon, Wear OS, Android XR and TV. The checker flags what the stores refuse: transparency (both stores want images without an alpha channel), the wrong format, sizes no display accepts, a long side more than twice the short side on Google Play. For a size that fits nothing, it shows the closest App Store size. Pick a target, choose whether to fit the image with margins or fill the frame and crop the edges, and download the result as PNG without transparency, one file or a ZIP. Nothing is uploaded; the work happens in your browser. ## Common questions ### What size are App Store screenshots in 2026? iPhone apps need at least one screenshot at a Dynamic Island medium size (1206×2622 or 1179×2556), plus the large size: 1320×2868, 1290×2796 or 1260×2736, or Face ID large at 1284×2778 or 1242×2688. iPad apps also need 13-inch shots at 2064×2752 or 2048×2732. Smaller displays are scaled from these. ### Can App Store screenshots have a transparent background? No. Both stores want PNG or JPEG without an alpha channel. The checker flags transparent PNGs and saves resized files without transparency. ### What size are Google Play screenshots? Each side between 320 and 3840 pixels, with the long side at most twice the short one. For screenshots Google Play can feature, use at least 1080 pixels on the short side, such as 1080×1920. You can add 2 to 8 phone screenshots; the feature graphic is 1024×500. ### Are my images uploaded anywhere? No. The files are read and resized in your browser and never leave your device.
