A storefront is one country's instance of the App Store or Google Play — its own search index, its own top charts, its own ranking for a given term. A rank in one storefront says nothing about another; there's no shared, global App Store search.

## How many there are

The App Store runs storefronts in 175 countries and regions; the full, verified list — with the language each one's search actually reads in — is on its own page, since a listing translated into the wrong dialect for a storefront under-serves the exact audience it was meant to reach.
